Welcome to Eclipse Season

Updated: Apr 30

We’re in the dark of the moon, building up to the partial solar eclipse that happens on Saturday. This is the first eclipse of the year and although it’s “partial”, astrologically it packs a punch.

Eclipses are times for surrender and clearly seeing what’s hiding in the shadow. Looking at the sky during an eclipse, you’re literally seeing the shadow of the moon and/or Earth depending on the type of eclipse. During Saturday’s solar eclipse the Moon will move between the Sun and Earth. When this happens, the Moon blocks the light of the Sun from reaching Earth. In this case we see the shadow of the new moon: something usually hidden from our sight. This metaphor has the power to become real if you’re willing, the secret ingredient is your awareness. What you do with what you find is up to you.
