Remember That TikTok that got a lot of views?

I love that on TikTok, you can have conversations with people. A few weeks back, I posted a TikTok that gained a lot of attention. It was about how Americans seem to be in a collective freeze state in response to fascism, late-stage capitalism, and climate change. The video now has over 25,000 views, and I've been enjoying responding to comments. What I particularly like about TikTok is that you can reply to comments using video format. This makes the interaction more personal and less formal than platforms like Facebook, which have character limits and allow people to hide behind their keyboards.

I've been going through the comments and responding to those that I think are relevant to the wider community. In my latest video, I addressed a question that someone asked me about how to prepare for late-stage capitalism and war. It's an excellent question, and one that we should all be thinking about. I find it puzzling that we seem to deny or outsource our problems instead of addressing them head-on. I'm not judging anyone, but I genuinely don't understand the benefits of this strategy. If you have any thoughts or experiences on this, please message me. I'd love to hear from you!

By the way, if you want to know what my answer was to the question, you can watch the video here:
